Naps

I really need to get back to regularly posting.  I have been wrestling lately between not wanting to do so much screen time and wanting to be in the moment with my kiddoes.  I'm also spending much of my time outside working on my gardens, and I'm still not even halfway where I want to be before the summer gets really hot.  I need about 6 extra hours a day on the weekends.

Today after getting up early for grocery shopping, walking Tucker with the boys and just getting through the EXTREMELY stressful previous week left me exhausted after lunch.  I started trying to read and fell asleep.  I was aware of Jav shushing the boys who were supposed to be either reading or playing quietly in their room.  But then blissful deep sleep took me over and I heard nothing.

I woke up about an hour later to a weirdly quiet house.  I tiptoed out of our bedroom and saw the boys' room door closed and no lights on inside.  Hmmmmm..    Did someone fall asleep in there?  I glanced in and saw a form on the top bunk.  Gabriel?  Who hasn't taken a nap in about four years?!?!?!  But where was Jojo?  I searched the playroom - nothing.  Where could he be?  I went back to their room and noticed the form looked kinda big on that top bunk.  When I got close enough, this is what I saw.

And yes, little bro is resting his head on big bro's shoulder.  Jojo sleeps best when he can put one part of him on any part of one of us.  I just melted inside when I saw this.  I wish I could have been a fly on that wall, watching them get sleepier and sleepier until they were both out.  So, so sweet.
